Dr. Bakhtiar Bana
Bakhtiar Bana is a dedicated healthcare provider at MB Dental at Heights, located in Heights, TX. He earned his degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry (UTSD) in Houston, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience under the guidance of exceptional mentors. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Bakhtiar moved with his family to Ireland at a young age, where he grew up in Clonmel, a small rural town. The cultural transition broadened his perspective and instilled a deep appreciation for diversity, which he carries into his professional practice.
His interest in dentistry was sparked during high school when he shadowed a dentist in Clear Lake. This mentorship inspired Bakhtiar’s journey into the dental profession, where he is now committed to lifelong learning through continuing education. Outside of work, Bakhtiar enjoys spending time with his wife and family, exploring Houston, and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and biking. He has also developed a passion for BBQ, particularly smoking briskets and ribs, and loves sharing tips and recipes with his patients.
Dr. Anisa Maredia
Dr. Anisa Maredia is a skilled dental care provider at MB Dental at Heights, located in Heights, TX. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in San Antonio and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) through a joint program by NYU Langone Dental Medicine and A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Having called Texas home for over 16 years, Dr. Maredia continues to expand her expertise with a focus on cosmetic dental procedures, implants, and periodontal health.
Dr. Maredia believes in a patient-centered approach, emphasizing the connection between oral health and overall wellness. She takes the time to educate her patients on how the health of their mouth affects their entire body, empowering them to take control of their well-being through preventive dentistry. Dr. Maredia is actively pursuing her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and has completed advanced training in dental implant placement, restorations, and care for high-risk patients.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Maredia enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, hiking, and reading paperback books.
